Apples
Scrub mashed apple to your armpits to get rid of dark spots and odour. The fruit contains AHA, capable of killing bacteria and germs that cause the darkening of underarms.
Sandalwood
Mix 2 tsp of rosewater with 2 tsp of sandalwood powder. Apply the mixture to your underarms and leave it for 5 minutes. Wash with water; do it daily.
Saffron
Add a pinch of saffron to about 2 tsp of mild lotion. Apply the mixture to your underarms and leave for 15-20 minutes. Repeat daily.
Honey
Mix equal amounts of lemon juice and honey. Apply to your underarms and leave for 10 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Repeat daily.
Cucumber
Take cucumber slices and rub on the affected areas.
Coconut oil
Take a few drops and massage on to your underarms for 15 minutes. Wash later.
Orange peel
Dry some peels for about three to four days. Take 2 tsp of powder made from peels and mix some rose water to it. Apply the paste on your underarms. Leave for 10 minutes before washing off.
Potatoes
Potatoes are rich invitamin A, C, and B and can bleach the underarm skin naturally and gently. Applying cold potato juice or slices on the armpits will soothe the skin while making the discolouration disappear with time. You can also take equal parts of lemon and potato juice and apply on the underarms for better results.
Lemon
The vitamin C present in the lemon juice will lighten the dark armpits while the acidic properties will exfoliate revealing cleaner skin underneath. Rub a cut lemon on your pits or apply the juice using cotton balls.
Cucumber
There are several ways to use cucumber to help lighten your underarms. Shred one cucumber and apply it on your armpits or simply apply cucumber juice to avoid the mess. Alternatively, you can also put cucumber slices on the dark skin and remove after 20 mins.
Baking soda

Apple cider vinegar contains mild acids that help to remove dead cells, and is also a great disinfectant. Start with mixing two tablespoons each of this vinegar with baking soda. Honey is known to be a great moisturiser. Use a layer of natural honey to nourish, soften, and soothe the delicate skin on your lips. Regular use of honey will reduce the dark pigmentation of your lips, and give you healthy and naturally pink lips.
Milk and rose petals

is known to be a good moisturiser. But not many know that sour curd can also help lighten one’s skin tone. Add a teaspoon of vinegar and gram flour to sour curd, and apply the mix on the affected area. Rinse after 15 minutes with warm water. Mix baking soda with milk to get a thick paste. Apply the paste on your elbows and knees and rinse after five minutes. Do this once a week for two months.
Aloe vera
helps make the skin supple. Break open a flesh aloe vera leaf, and apply the pulp on rough skin. Leave on for about 20 minutes and rinse with cold water. Top up with a aloe moisturiser. To soften rough skin, massage affected areas with coconut oil and then go for a warm shower. Do not apply soap. Just rinse and pat dry. You can squeeze in a few drops of lemon juice in the water too.

Lemon
Squeeze fresh lemon in a container, dip a cotton ball or earbud into it and apply on the affected areas. Do this twice everyday, thrice a week.
Apple cider vinegar
Apply apple cider vinegar with a cotton pad on dark spots and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash it off after that. For better results, add a few drop of lemon juice to apple cider vinegar. Do this everyday for a few weeks.
Horseradish
Grate one horseradish with 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar and store it in a jar. Leave the jar aside for two weeks, shaking the mixture occasionally. After two weeks, strain the mixture and store it in a refrigerator and apply the paste everyday on dark spots.
