You need:
2 cup water
1/2 cup flaxseeds

Directions:

  • To make flaxseed gel, take a pan and add water and seeds to it.
  • Bring to boil on medium flame.

  • You will find the water turning into a gel.
  • Turn off flame and strain the gel using a strainer.
  • Let it cool and transfer to a container.
  • You can store this gel in your refrigerator for a month.
  • To add fragrance to this oil, you can add any essential oil to it.

How To Use?

This gel can be used on your skin as a moisturiser. After washing your face with water, pat dry. Next, take some gel and apply all over the face and neck. Keep it for 10 to 20 minutes. Wash off with cold water.

All you have to do is mix flaxseed gel and matcha green tea powder. Mix well until you get an even consistency. Wash your face. If you have time, you can also exfoliate it with some gentle scrub.

Then apply this mask. Leave it on for 10 minutes or until it dries. Wash it off and apply a moisturizer.

Almond oil and flaxseed gel

  • 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
  • 1 tablespoon DIY flaxseed gel

Sweet almond oil is perfect for dry skin since it is very nourishing and moisturizing.

Mix sweet almond oil and flaxseed gel in a small bowl. Oil and gel (water) don’t mix well and will start to separate quickly, so apply the mask as soon as you get your mixture well combined.

You can either use a thicker layer as a face mask, or apply a thin layer and leave it overnight.
