  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar

Preparation:

In a bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until the mixture is smooth.
Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Stir this into the butter mixture. Add and stir in chocolate chips. Drop the dough using a tablespoon onto buttered baking sheets.
